I participated in a fashion collab where my prompt was a Futuristic style and this took me quite literally a month or a bit more

technically with OCs but I'll put the OC version into a reblog. I made a Flug version for clickbait and because I'm insufferable about him

my hope for my generation of young people especially those of us interested in politics and activism is that we learn to focus our efforts in the most effective ways possible. im certainly not an expert but i do my best to listen to more experienced activists than myself and theyre always saying to call your representatives and physically go outside and protest with other people. and i just see a lot of my generation simply reposting things to their instagram stories and calling it a day. and i know everyone means well but i think we as a generation all need to learn how to be more effective in our activism. the government doesnt care about what you posted online, but they sure care if youre calling them and protesting in the streets. yes of course educating people is also important but so is, if you can, more directly protesting things!

one of my favorite tropes is casual use of OCs in fanfic

like. the guy goes to a convention and makes some friends and they're all OCs. or the guy goes to a new school and all his friends there are OCs. or. any number of things like that

and it sucks that usually the connotation of "OC in fic" is actually about self inserts of the author (which... is fine? typically has bad connotations of being cringe or whatever but I'm currently technically co-authoring a reader insert fic so yknow. cringe is dead) and that the only OC in those types of fics is the self insert. gimme more fics where there's like a dozen OCs seamlessly integrated into the canon characters' lives

also random but i wanna draw a pic of starscream teaching nightshade how to wear makeup and nightshade never knew they needed a kinda mentor like starscream when it came to gender and presentation but now they are soo happy.

starscream also helps thrash with makeup and stuff becuase thrash is actually very into it but didn't think that anyone would take him seriously or was just nervous. he is also coming into his own queer/gender identity but doesn't know where to begin so in come starscream.

anyway long story short, starscream is like a very nice queer uncle that the kids need.
